Ahhh!! 100!!!

This week has sucked. Period. I've been busy with school and work, and things have just had this icky off vibe. I can't quite put my finger on it. Nothing went badly, per se, but like I said... icky off vibe.

Imagine my surprise, however, when I log onto my blog and find...

My follower count has grown, finally reaching that oh-so-elusive 100 mark!!! It totally made my day!

Welcome, new followers!! I'm so glad you've decided to join me here at 52 Weeks of Wordage!
I think this is a good point to have people start to introduce yourselves. 1,2,3, GO!

Who are you?
Do you have a blog? What is it?
Where do you hail from?
What are your hobbies and interests?

C'mon, guys! I want to get to know you all!

P.S. Even if you've been following for a while, leave a comment! I want to get to know ALL of my readers! :)

What a great idea. I'll have to do this on my blog--as soon as I get over that little surgery I have to suffer through a little later this morning.

My name is Maria and I recently found you, after you found me.

My cyber home is at where I talk about homesteading, frugal living, dogs and oh yes...writing.

I'm only posting twice a week right now so I can get two manuscripts ready for my editors, but I should be back to more regular postings in a couple of weeks.

Currently residing in Texas on six acres in the middle of nowhere.

Congratulations on your bunch of followers! Want to get to know your stalkers?

Uhm, oookay... I am Diandra, and write short stories over at

I live in Bonn, Germany, and work as a translator of medical reports. In my free time (besides writing stories and letters and strange things), I cook and read and play guitar & harp and pester the BoyFriend and want to learn to spin wool and try not to kill plants and am generally considered a crazy person.

And now I'm going to stalk out some of your followers. (^v^)

Yay! Happy 100! And, I'm totally going to steal this idea from you. Because good writers beg, borrow, and steal, right?

Okay, I'm kindof embarassed because I've had this page open for days, but just haven't gotten around to introducing myself properly.

My name's Jason Wright, a geek and aspiring writer in Columbia, SC. (Please don't hold that against me.) You can check out my writing blog at - though I should really change the title, since I'm shifting back to a boring daylight orientation.

I love comics, superheroes, science-fiction, fantasy, cop/detective stories, crime stories... You know, I just love stories in general as well as games of any and all stripes.

A mighty congratulations to Stef! She's a very pleasant lady, and is devoted to her writing. :)

Hello... oops, I'm late for this party - just got round to catching up.
I'm Clare, I live in Merseyside UK and I've just started blogging - writing, poetry, funny + stuff loosely related to writing and ideas.
I think I came across Stef on Twitter first, then followed her here.

Hello! My name is Summer Lane. I have lived in Raleigh, North Carolina for nine years. I spent two in Asheville after graduating from high school in 2005. I am originally from Austin, Texas.

At the moment I work full-time as a waittress in a family-owned bar. I hate waiting tables, but I do love where I work. I am going to school full-time to be a massage therapist; I will graduate in April 2011.

Other than massage therapy, I love reading, writing (mostly journals), swimming, camping, dogs, movies, and music (I played the tuba through middle and high school.. hopefully I will be able to buy a tuba once I get my big girl job).

I really don't know how I stumbled upon this blog, but I am definitely liking it so far. I haven't posted anything yet, but hopefully I'll find some inspiration with all these creative minds around here!

Soft Things

Exercise #105 : "Soft Things" Make a list of soft things. GO!!! This should be easy enough, shouldn't it?

Bonjour New Followers! Well met!

Tell me a little bit about yourself! Who are you, from where do you hail, what is your favorite thing about blogging or reading other people's blogs? Tell me anything you'd like! If you have a blog, don't fear the shameless plug! haha Leave a link in your comment and go visit some of the blogs linked by your fellow commenters. Speaking of your blogs, I've been going through my list of followers and looking at your blogs. "Yellow List"

Exercise #83 : "Yellow List" What things are yellow? Make a list. At the end of the five minutes, note the three you find most curious. Ah, yellow. One of my least favorite colors. I mean, it's nice and all, but there are so many versions of this color that are simply eye-raping. Anyways, on with the list. Things That Are Yellow: bananas school buses yellow bell pepper tennis balls Post Shredded Wheat boxes (see right) lemons canaries the middle traffic light traffic lines the sun cheddar cheese hay corn butter cabs #2 pencils grapefruit raincoats (stereotypical ones, anyway) bees squash yellow jackets (I HATE those things!) the yolk of an egg scrambled eggs or an omelet peanut M&Ms the Simpsons various flowers rubber duckie etc... So that's my list of yellow things! :) The most curious? Well... I'll go with... but none of those are curious! That's silly. Check back later today for my 5th Character Profile on Nolan Ha
