The Big, Bad WIP

The current Work-in-Progress is the novel I wrote during NaNoWriMo last year.

The basic idea is this: Treasure Island meets 2001: A Space Odyssey. Add in a little bit of romance, and you've got it!

Character Profile #1 - Natalie Hansley

Character Profile #2 - First Mate Pickett Oxford

Character Profile #3 - Captain Eldon Whitlaw

Character Profile #4 - Madelyn Hansley

WIP Teaser - This exerpt has since been removed from the WIP due to it kind of sucking, but I figured I'd keep it on here for posterity. It begins after the exercise.

Official WIP Opening

WIP Excerpt #2 - This follows directly after the opening.

Without further ado, the One-Eyed, One-Horned, Flying, Purple People Eater by Sheb Wooley:

Great, huh? I don't remember when I was first introduced to this all-sorts-of-wonderful song, but I'm pretty sure it was care of my Mom. She definitely has provided quite a bit of the humor in my life, and I'm sure she's one of the big reasons…
