Exercise #220: Books, Books, Books

Schopenhauer said, "Buying books would be a good thing if one could also buy the time to read them in."

Use this an your opening line, and start writing.

1,2,3, GO!

Schopenhauer said, "Buying books would be a good thing if one could also buy the time to read them in."

No truer words have ever been spoken. I can attest to that. A bibliophile turned librarian, I have always had a difficult time of scheduling  moments to read all of the books from my ever-growing To Read list, and I frequently find myself with my nose in a book during all of my spare seconds.

It's so sad, but 5 minutes up!

I had a major block while writing this, partly because of my inability to concentrate on anything literary other than the NaNo novel, but that's not really an excuse. Sad, sad Stefers... Better luck next time, I guess. Sigh...

What did you come up with? Here's hoping you did better than me!

Peace.
Stef.
