Watsky ft. Jimetta Rose - All You Can Do

I've been following George Watsky since 2010 when he uploaded a video of his spoken poetry piece, S For Lisp (seriously, if you haven't seen it, watch it, listen, and soak it up along with all of his other spoken word performances). He then went on to post a video entitled Watsky Raps Fast, and it went viral - like, crazy viral - resulting in mad attention and publicity. It was about damned time.

He has consistently created solid album after album over the years, recently releasing his new project, All You Can Do, so I have decided to share the titular* song from the album with my readers to further his brand (not that he needs my help).

So listen. Listen and buy the album (or all of his albums) if you like his style.

What do you think?

Peace.
Stef.

*Is it just me, or does this word make anyone else giggle like a 13 year old boy?

"Purple Things"

Exercise #28: "Purple Things"
What things are purple? Make a list.

You know, you don't really notice it, but purple appears quite frequently in nature. When I think nature, my mind immediately imagines greens, browns, and generally all kinds of neutral colors, but purple is everywhere. It's pretty awesome.

Without further ado, the One-Eyed, One-Horned, Flying, Purple People Eater by Sheb Wooley:

Great, huh? I don't remember when I was first introduced to this all-sorts-of-wonderful song, but I'm pretty sure it was care of my Mom. She definitely has provided quite a bit of the humor in my life, and I'm sure she's one of the big reasons…
