New Blog Series!!
Dear Sissybug Book Review - An Introduction

Why, yes. I'm sure my sister is very happy with my logo choice. Why do you ask?

NEW BLOG INSTALLMENT!

I present to you Dear Sissybug Book Club, in which my sister, Sissybug* (of Twitter, A Little More Juju, and The Legion fame), and I will write corresponding reviews regarding a book of our choice on a bi-monthly** basis (1st and 3rd Thursday of every month).

The books for this month have been chosen by Sissybug, and I will be choosing October's books (mwahahahahaaaaaaa... the power!!!), but after that we will each choose one book per month: Jenn's pick will be the first review of the month, and mine will be the second. She will also be posting her reviews on her blog as well, so you can see her viewpoint as well should you want to read more.

Our first iteration will post on Thursday, September 4th, 2014. We're starting out with a novel entitled Her Sky Cowboy by Beth Ciotta, and as a rip-roaring steampunk romance, it sounds like it's going to be an interesting read at the least.

Wish us luck!

Peace.
Stef.

Exercise #83 : "Yellow List"
What things are yellow? Make a list. At the end of the five minutes, note the three you find most curious.
Ah, yellow. One of my least favorite colors. I mean, it's nice and all, but there are so many versions of this color that are simply eye-raping. Anyways, on with the list.

"Purple Things"

Exercise #28: "Purple Things"
What things are purple? Make a list.

You know, you don't really notice it, but purple appears quite frequently in nature. When I think nature, my mind immediately imagines greens, browns, and generally all kinds of neutral colors, but purple is everywhere. It's pretty awesome.

Without further ado, the One-Eyed, One-Horned, Flying, Purple People Eater by Sheb Wooley:

Great, huh? I don't remember when I was first introduced to this all-sorts-of-wonderful song, but I'm pretty sure it was care of my Mom. She definitely has provided quite a bit of the humor in my life, and I'm sure she's one of the big reasons…
