So I'm not at my house. Not only that, but I don't have my list of writing exercises with me... So... No writing exercise today. :(

Here's how I've decided to justify this:
  • It gives me more time to work on my #fridayflash!
  • I can work on my WIP
  • I can work on editing both of those stories ("Meet Chuck" and the story that was spawned by one of the exercises)
  • I can plan ahead and think of some more really friggin' awesome ideas for future blog posts...
That's all I can come up with right now, but I'm sure I'll add to the list later on. If you guys have any thoughts about what you'd like to hear from me in the future, drop me a comment. It'd be fun to see what you'd like me to write! Also, if any of you want to guest blog, ask away! I'd love to highlight people doing the writing exercises, or if you have a better idea, let me know.

Can't wait to hear from you.

Hi Stef, I've started your blog just a couple of weeks ago so I am not sure if you've ever done a visual prompt. I love those! Weird what can come out of the simplest image.
Hi Stef, Alwasy happy to g-blog if you need. Much better, have you tried the fantastic "come ni character" site as a source of writing exercise inspiration (see my blog roll).

Here's an exercise. Write three paragraphs. Post them, with links, on the web in 3 places, and make them such that whichever order people go in they still make a story that makes sense (AND you'll be learning how to use tech in your writing to make innovative content).

You know, you don't really notice it, but purple appears quite frequently in nature. When I think nature, my mind immediately imagines greens, browns, and generally all kinds of neutral colors, but purple is everywhere. It's pretty awesome.

Great, huh? I don't remember when I was first introduced to this all-sorts-of-wonderful song, but I'm pretty sure it was care of my Mom. She definitely has provided quite a bit of the humor in my life, and I'm sure she's one of the big reasons…
